The precision balancers enable the user to determine the weight of premeasured samples by measuring the air that is drawn across the top and bottom of the dish. Since the premeasured air weighs out the same, the dishes heat up and cool down much more quickly and in much less time. The dishes also tend to weigh less than traditional round weight dishes, because the weight is closer to the middle of the dish, getting rid of air bubbles. Also ideal for use with other precision balances with a Pan or Flat Bottom.
