Federal Heavyweight TSS loads use extra-hard tungsten shot, which combines with our advanced buffering material to produce the world's highest density turkey load -- surpassing lead's knockdown power. The tungsten pellets are denser than lead -- which makes them harder than steel shot. The velocities of Federal Heavyweight TSS loads are comparable to those of steel shot, and the projectiles are slightly smaller than lead -- which makes them perfect for sending gobblers running. The full-length wads on these rounds prevent direct contact between the extra-hard tungsten pellets and the barrel, protecting your barrel. In addition, each Federal Heavyweight TSS Turkey Shotgun Ammunition pack includes a reusable wad that opens easily, ensuring easy loading and unloading.
