I bought this for a project gun , the fit was perfect and works Great . The only problem that I had was the finish I was looking for a matt finish....................................................................
This is a solid base that I used on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308. The only issue I had was figuring out which screws went in the front/back. Once mounted, I was thoroughly impressed.
Pros: Price and functionality
Cons: Lack of instructions
Honestly I was very suprised at how sturdy it was and still is. I wasn't expecting much just something to hold me over until i got some more money and it holds a zero.

dont expect much, cause you sure cant find any steel in this mount, metal.? ok
oh and you will need a file to knock the burrs off. No problem though this stuff files just like soft butter...
