The Noveske KX3-556P Flash Hider, 1/2x28 Threads is a lightweight, easy-to-install device that is made to distract from the quick bang of the 5.56 NATO sub caliber cartridge. Instead of the traditional expanding function, this Flash Hider from Noveske reduces muzzle flash and concussion by diverting gases downrange where they exit the rifle preventing the blinding flash seen in close quarters shooting situations. The internal design of the flash hider does not restrict gas flow, which allows for the rapid cooling of the flash hider. All Noveske Flash Hiders feature an enlarged anti-gas port that redirects gas flow away from the face and body of the flash hider, preventing carbon build-up. As a plus, the flash hider uses a phosphate finish that requires no gunsmithing to install. The trick to making this device even better is its adjustable baffles that allow the shooter to further reduce the flash to a minimum. The ribbed surface of the flash hider makes it easier to install/uninstall. The crown is also enlarged to handle any over-sized threaded barrels that may be present.
