I have my PRi handguard on an LR-308 pattern rifle with a rifle length gas system, the 6" X 3/32" hex Allen key provided by Superlative arms reaches the adjustable gas block with a 15.75 inch tube on a 20 inch barrel just fine Depending on your setup you may be able to aquire a longer t handle hex key (3/32")that will reach down the tube to the adjustable gas block, from the front of the unloaded and safed rifle. recommend using a chamber flag so you don't muzzle yourself with a loaded firearm.... hope this helps.

Bought this dpms forearm and an Armalite full top rail for my Aero M5 build. The top rail is backordered, so we will see how the fitment is. Precision Reflex suggested the Armalite rail to account for the high profile upper receiver.
Purchased a rifle length round for an aero build and what can I say this thing is sweet. Super light weight and strong. So far only shot off Harris bipod but it was flawless. Can't wait to get out in the field with it and rough it up a bit.

Gen III DPMS 308 14in Free float Forearm. The length is 14.75in from forearm collar to the end of the tube. The latest PRi Gen III free float forearm 14.75in length are constructed of light weight high strength carbon fiber, aluminum and high strength steel for the best possible combination of weight and strength. The carbon fiber also reduces the amount of heat transferred to the shooters hand during rapid or high volume firing. The forearm comes with 4 rails a 8.5in rail on top and (3) 3in rails at 3,6, and 9 O'clock positions. Natural Finish. The ID is 1.9in and the OD is 2.165in. The weight of the forearm with barrel nut is 1.16 pounds. Center line of the tube to the top of the rail is 1.328in.
