This elastic tourniquet holderallows the storage of a Tourniquet on or between any velcro surface. Whether it be on aplate carrier,chest rig,two-piece belt, or any other piece of kit, our tourniquet holder allows you to place a tourniquet virtually anywhere that velcro is present.It is a universal fit, compatible with any gear that uses velcro. The tourniquet sleeve utilizes 4" elastic to retain the tourniquet. The tourniquet holder is simplistic, lightweight, durable, and functional. It helps ensure quick and easy access to a tourniquet at all times. It is fully ambidextrous and can be installed anywhere you have velcro. The patented C-A-T is a true one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective by the U.S. Armys Institute of Surgical Research. Tests proved that the CAT completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. The Gen 7 CAT utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. Once adequately tightened, bleeding will cease and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is then applied, securing the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation.
