Or, take the batteries out from the device for a while; then put them back to start the NV.

The viewing distance is related to brightness of surroundings, under 0.1 lux background & w/o IR illuminator, the viewing distance would be some 10s meters.

These Barska Night Vision NVX300 Infrared Illuminator Digital Binoculars are not designed to be mounted to a helmet. They are compatible with the tripod attachment or are meant to be used as a handheld device.

Not really, night vision binoculars are not really designed to use behind red dot rifle scopes

It will include a built-In Tripod Mount. You would need the correct sized male adapter, as is used on a standard tripod.
