Am I correct in thinking the “long action” refers to the 9 Lug MK V? I’m looking to restock a Wyoming built 6 Lug MK V in .270 Win

Long action refers to your caliber - .270 Win is a long action. These stocks are designed for rifles with a 6 lug bolt and are not compatible with rifles with a 9 lug bolt system.
