Can someone give a range for the waist sizes? L is from a certain waist size to 40." XL is from what to what? I am a 38" waste.

The standard belly band holster fits up to a 40" waist. The XL fits from 40" to 52".

The XL is the x-large version that fist waists up to 52". The standard fits waists up to 40"

Why is this called the XL, is it the height or the length...4", 6" or 8" in height or does it fit up to a 50" waist? Thanks.

The XL fits larger waists. Both will hold any size pistol or revolver.
