Will this work on muzzleloader rifle and pistols?

It will only work for pistols that have a dovetail style rear sight.

Will this work on a Beretta 92X? The slide is significantly different than most other semi auto's.

It should work just fine with that firearm. Just make sure you know which way the sight is supposed to move before attempting removal, either to the left or right. Beretta would have that information.

It would be difficult to clamp in place as that slide is rounded instead of flat.
