will this fit a 1st gen colt army issue 1911? would love to shoot, but dont want to ruin original barrel.

These are a universal, drop-in barrel that should be compatible with most 1911's. Minor fitting may be required.

Most will have the standard feedramps. The 38 Super barrels will have fully supported feedramps.

What kind of 1911 frame will this barrel work, for example a 1911 current Remington ?
