Yes, the FM Products PCC 9mm Heavy Buffer 6.5 oz w/ .308 Carbine Recoil Spring will fit and function in a 9mm AR9 as long as you are using a carbine length buffer tube/receiver extension.

The FM Products PCC 9mm Heavy Buffer 6.5 oz w/ .308 Carbine Recoil Spring is designed for 9mm PCC. I recommend the buffer assembly at the link below to be used with an AR10 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

The FM Products PCC 9mm Heavy Buffer has a slightly increased length which doesn't require the use of a spacer.
