It says air gun approved, does this mean it can't take the recoil of a real firearm?

The Konus 10-40x52mm Rifle Scope /w Mil-Dot Reticle is shockproof and will withstand recoil from most high caliber rifles. Airguns have a different recoil pattern from standard firearms, and some rifle scopes can withstand recoil from real firearms but not airguns. This scope can do both.
