when you put the gas tube in the gas block, you drive the pin through. This holds the gas tube in the gas block

Will this be a suitable gas tube replacement for a Colt LE6940?

The Colt LE6940 uses a mid length gas system. So the correct Noveske Gas Tube Pack for your rifle would be MPN:5000634 (Mid length/11.75").
