what is the height of this scope ring? Can't seem to find that info.

Unfortunately, Ruger does not provide a specific centerline height measurement for this scope ring. They state it will be compatible with up to a 42mm objective lens.

For a Ruger m77, mounting a vortex 6.5x20 44mm objective 30mm tube. Am I correct that I’d need the 90273 and the 90274 rings?

The Ruger 30mm Medium Scope Ring is stated by Ruger, will only support objectives lens up to 42mm in size. I would recommend the Leupold Ruger Rifle Scope Mount Rings found using the following link:

Will it work on custom competition mark II ?

That completely depends on whether or not your firearm has the Ruger proprietary mounting points. This ring is meant to fit the half-circle cut mounting points found on many Ruger firearms.

Will these rings work on a Ruger #1B rifle with factory base rail?

These are Ruger proprietary rings meant to fit Ruger firearms that use their half-circle proprietary mounts. The Ruger #1 has the Ruger proprietary mounting points.
