It will depend on your pistol. There are 3 variants. If you pistol is not pre-cut for an optic, you would need an adapter plate. If your pistol is precut for an optic, it could be cut for one of two different sights, either the original Romeo1, or the newer Romeo1Pro (which shares a mounting pattern with the DeltaPoint Pro). If you do no know which one your pistol is pre-cut for, you would have to contact Sig directly, they should be able to tell you based on your serial number. Here is a simply way to tell. Please correct this if in correct. If you gun is pre-cut for an Optic and if the rear sight does not carry over on to the plate, then your gun will take the Pro without a mounting plate. However if your rear sight hangs over the plate, then it's cut for the regular Romeo 1
If your P320’s optic plate has a straight cut by the chamber area, it takes the older Romeo 1. If the plate has a cured cut by the chamber area, it then takes the Delta point Pro/Romeo 1 Pro. Finally, if your rear sight is separate from the optics plate (can be removed from on top of the slide) it should be cut to accept the Delta Point Pro/Romeo 1 Pro and the Trijicon RMR. As a side note, older slides that have a cutout on top and the X-Carry engraved on the slide only accept the older Romeo 1. They also do not have interchangeable barrels with other compact slides (3.9” barrel) due to being hand fitted.
