16" chf 416r spiral flute 5.56 1:8 matte finish barrel - Alpha Shooting Sports CHF 5.56 NATO Mid Barrel

Ok. So this is more like an unboxing review cause it just arrived yesterday. Bought this barrel on dvor. I have to say it appears to be very well made. I can't find a single flaw inside or out. Its cut for a low profile gas block and has one dimple already pre-drilled for set screw and easy alignment. The M4 barrel extension is TiN coated for a tighter fit to the receiver and smooth bolt lock up, ease of cleaning. Threaded end is very nicely cut, muzzle device screws on like it should, with no play or slack between threads. Fluting is very well cut with no burrs or flaws. The crowning looks to be very good, but is not recessed much like some other barrels to protect it, so you will definitely want to be sure to put a thread protector or muzzle device on to preserve accuracy. The matte finish is excellent. I will write another review on accuracy after its installed and broke in properly, but the rifling looks smooth and even with no visible cracks or blemishes.
