Bought this to run in 3gun on a limited rifle. I have a bad astigmatism and this is the only red dot I've ever looked at that doesn't look like a star shap. Even with a magnifier behind it. The faster 3 in my opinion is better than the 2. I like the push button on over a little switch. The on switch on my fastfire 2 always turns it's self off. I gave this optic 3 stars because it turned off on me during a stage in a winter match. (About 30 degrees outside) After that stage was a complete loss, I put a new battery in it for the next stage.... same thing. It ruined my match. So I cannot trust this to run %100
