Bought this brass catcher not knowing if it would work on a VEPR AK47 or not. And yes, although a bit tight, it does work on the rifle. Yes you have to flip it open to cycle each time you change mags, but it works great after that. It is the only reasonably priced brass catcher I could find that might work on the AK. It does a good job and I highly recommend it.
