I was wanting to get an oIII filter
to catch great views, trouble was, they were all too expensive, and I was worried about quality, you know, cheaply made glass, cheaply coated optics, and anything else that would detract from a proper view of nebulae, which happen to be among my favorite targets.
Pros: easy to thread, works great, unobstructed view
Cons: none that I can think of really.
