Obabo's Review of Criterion Barrels AR-15 HBAR Nitrided Rifle Gas System Barrel

My previous AR was a BCA upper, and I swapped the barrel out with a ballistic advantage 18 in, im not marksman, and i dont use a led sled, just bipod and tuck the stock in my shoulder tighly and breathe, but on that i was getting about 2moa with PPU/ xtax ammo.

With this criterion 20", I was I was hoping that grouping would get a little tighter, I built a new AR with higher quality parts and n this barrel, went to the range with several different ammos to test groupings after i built it (shot about 30 rounds to zero it and break it in and then cleaned it before shooting again), and i averaged a hair over 2moa, with PPU, xtac, AAC ammos (i got like 11moa with winchester ammo, junk ammo), again there is human error involved, but I definitely can't say this barrel is any better than the ballistic advantage.

I'm not going to say it's a bad bat roll, and if you have the money and like the brand I would still recommend it, but if you are trying to look for the best bang for the buck I would suggest ballistic advantage.
