I'VE HAD MY HISSATSU FOLDER FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS NOW. I DECIDED TO BUY IT WHEN I SAW A VIDEO OF A REVIEW.FOR ONE OF THE TESTS THIS GUY WAS STABBING IT THROUGH THE TOP OF A FIFTY GALLON STEEL DRUM WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE BLADE OR TIP AT ALL. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. WHEN I GOT IT I DID MY OWN TESTING AND IT PASSED WITH NO DAMAGE AT ALL. WHEN I DEPLOYED THE BLADE I WAS IMPRESSED ON HOW FAST AND STRONG THE SPRING ASSISTANCE WAS.THE KNIFE ALMOST FLEW OUT OF MY HANDS.AND I LIKE HOW LOUD THE DEPLOYMENT SOUNDS. My 2nd hissatsu folder

This is a great backup knife. Very quick on deployment and it will definitely do some damage if the time came if you were ever to get in a life or death situation. The hissatsu folder is strictly a fighting knife and not for utility purposes.

The knife is extremely well made it borders on heavy duty. For me I would like a little thicker blade but this is not made as a utility knife. The blade assist is a little on the heavy side but is very dependable when you get use to that (works great for 1 hand operation). For the money its a great buy. I didn't give it 5 stars because nothing is perfect but this comes pretty close for me.
