It looks pretty… just dont use it. - Faxon Firearms Flame Fluted Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact 9mm Pistol Barrel

I have recently purchased this barrel to run my new suppressor and could not wait for this to come in, I got it in the beautiful tan color to go with my suppressor. Once it arrived at my house I was filled with so much excitement I ran straight to the gun range to try it out, once I got to the range all the clerks were complementing the barrel but once when it came down to putting it into my Smith & Wesson it made me look like a fool and at first WOUND NOT DROP IN the slide without some force and taking a bath in oil . Then next I tried to cycle it and it wouldn’t even cycle without failing and I just figured maybe it just needs to “ brake in “ so I went to shoot it and it would fail to extract and I have never had an issue with my Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm until I put in this barrel. After letting it “ break in “ I go to clean my gun and noticed a bunch of big scratches on my brand new what used to be beautiful barrel, I am very upset with this product and I have always heard highly of Faxon but I would personally not feel safe running this barrel if I ever have to use this barrel in a self defense situation. This barrel kinda does its job and doesn’t look pretty the same after you shoot it for the first time, I am very disappointed and would not recommend if you want a pretty barrel unless if you plan on never shooting with it and would not recommend it if you plan on carrying it.
