Not worth it - Galco V-Hawk IWB Gun Holster - Right Hand Holster, Leather

Purchased the Vhawk hoping it would work in place of the similarly priced versa-max II... the custom holster this one attempts to copy. Milt Sparks wait is worth it. I plan on returning this holster. The material is relatively thin, flexible, supple leather not suitable for an IWB carry. The Guard at the mouth does hold the holster open at the belt line but rest of the holster nearly collapses. The V shaped wings are flexible and almost floppy and provide little stability. The snap closures are not secure enough and often break open when drawing. With the weapon holstered the pressure of the belt and jeans is enough to increase friction and make drawing difficult. Its just a knock off that does not work.
Pros: looks okay, solid concepts
Cons: low grade materials compromises functionality
