Garmin astro 320 gps - great! - Garmin Astro 320 GPS for Dogs

This is a great product for hunting with dogs or bush walking in remote areas. With 2500 MAh Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries (not included)it lasts for a long time. I have been with the unit in the rain and the dogs with the collars in the water and it is still works perfectly. With Topographical maps (separately) I use it for riding the bike in remote areas and it's invaluable. The DC40 transmitter is big and may not be suitable if you look for a smaller pet just for security. If used to modern graphics, touch screens and high built quality of expensive phones, the GPS seems a bit oldish. Button navigation in the menus and icons with low-ish resolution.No touch screen. Some of the functions were a nice surprise. Overall great product. Would recommend if you can spare the dollars.
