Great product - Guard Dog Body Armor Level IIIA FAST Ballistic Helmet

The guard dog helmet is really nice. The older YouTube videos say that it doesn’t have good pads but they definitely heard the comments and fixed it. It has a lot of pads now and it’s some type of memory foam (really comfortable). The head strap system is really nice and I have no complaints other than I have facial hair and it kinda pulls on the hairs on my chin. Easily fixed by just shaving lol. The NVG mount and ARC rail are both plastic but it’s the nice type of plastic. You would have to do something crazy to break that plastic. It’s not very heavy but if you’re driving with it on you do feel like a bobble head. I put the HHV Micro Lattice Helmet Pads in it (I ordered it when I ordered the helmet because I herd the pads weren’t very good) unless you just want to upgrade the helmet, it’s not necessary but it is better pads and it helps air out the helmet and keep your head cool. Unless you have crazy money this is the best helmet for the every day person. You don’t need a more expensive helmet. You get lvl 3a protection and you get a less expensive helmet so you can spend money on ammo. Get the helmet a couple boxes of ammo get in your kit and train. Stay in your kit for a few hours and figure out what bothers you and fix it! A couple hours in a humid environment in your kit is going to tell you a LOT.
