I own steel plates but they are heavy. I wanted to shave some weight so I watched a ton of videos on this plate. Since it's cheap. A few friends and I cheaped in to buy one to test. Disappointed. It took 2 regular rounds of 556 no problem but the 3rd and 4th which where green tip went right through. Shot it with 300 blackout and the 2nd one also went through. Yes it was shot in a different place from the 556.
