Purchased this to use on my wife's 10/22. When I zeroed it I found that the windage adjustment had no tactile "click" but it did adjust and hold zero. Upon its second use (my wife's first time out with it) after 40 to 50 rounds of punishing standard velocity .22 LR recoil, the crossbolt snapped in the threaded section, freeing the optic from the rifle. (No, I did not ridiculously over tighten it.) I am guessing from the large number of good reviews that I may just have a dud, but I have no confidence in the brand and will be replacing this and my other Holosun unit with something else.
Pros:
- decent red dot in the optic
- besides the crossbolt, seems sturdy
Cons:
- no tactile click in windage adjustment
- battery compartment requires tiny screwdriver to open
- crossbolt failed
