I hesitated purchasing a set of Alumina Flip Back covers because of the price. I wanted something better than the rubber flip backs supplied by Leupold that were often difficult to close properly so I finally decided to try the Alumnia set. They are well worth the price. The magnets provide for a secure weather/dust proof closing and they open easily. I also like that with a gentle push the covers will lay down flat against the scope.
My only complaints are the lack of clear mounting instructions and I would like the release tab on the eye piece on the right side rather than the left for easier use, but that is a minor inconvenience. There are several online videos that make mounting very simple.
I am glad that I made the purchase and often wonder why I waited so long.
