Either the screws provided with this product or the backing nuts were too far back. The maglink would not even screw(the screws would not reach the backing but and just spin freely) together with two halves pressed flushly together. When the gen 2 mags are added to the mix, the same result occurs. I’m not happy one bit with this. I use magpul equipment as a police officer but all my magpul items are gonna be given away or trashed. If you want a good way to have a spare magazine ready, just spend the extra money and get a Redi-Mag.
