Garbage packing and difficult assembly's Review of Muddy The Quad Roof Kit Enclosure, Tree Stand

The product itself seems like it will be great, once we finish assembling it of course. The problem lies within the packaging of the installation hardware and the vague instructions. All the bolts, washers, and nuts are all thrown in a single plastic bag together. Had I known this I would have taken them out and attempt to organized them before trying to set it up in the field. The instructions are not to scale for the included bolts and they do not provide you with the exact same as the instructions call to use. We had many more full threads than was called for and less half threads than was called for. Two bolts were stuck together and luckily we were able to separate them without damaging the threads, although it wasn’t easy. There is absolutely 0 reasons the bolts couldn’t have been in compartmentalized packaging. It will take about 8 total hours to build for us as we kept mismatching bolts. We still have another trip to go and we are going to have to remove all bolts from the handrails to move to the seats and move leftovers we thought were for the seats to the handrails. Big thing is if they had labeled the bolts we could have been done in 2 hours or less most likely. The manual itself is also pretty vague on both written instructions and drawings.
Pros:
  • Quite swivel chairs, good height, and very roomy
Cons:
  • Poor packaging, hard to understand instructions, and difficult assembly
Best Used for:
  • hunting
