Best scope imho at any price - NightForce NXS 5-22x56mm Zero Stop Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I wanted to get into long range shooting. I purchased a Remington 700P in .308 and mounted a NF 5.5-22 NXS on a set of Ken Farrell rings and base. I put 15,000 rounds through the rifle and shot in many, many 600 and 1000 yard compititions. I won many, many 600 and 1000 yard competitions in 2 different countries. I’m all the traveling and banging around the rig saw. I NEVER had any issues with the scope. 17 years of use at this point. The rifle has been rebarreled a couple of times, but the NF scope is in perfect condition. I wouldn’t buy or use any other scope. I tried many others and NOTHING compares to the Nightforce optics, adjustments, strength or repeatablity. The initial price is a bit steep, but it’s much cheaper than buying a lesser scope, realizing it’s junk and having to buy a Nightforce in the end. Do it right, do it once, get the Nightforce and don’t have any regrets. Happy shooting
