I have one on a 7MM REM MAG and the light transmission is very poor. On high power at dusk the scope goes completely black. I do not recommend this scope if you will ever be hunting around dusk. It is also very hard to find a moving target in the scope even on 4x. Scope is very sensitive to the sun as well. It will glare horribly if pointed in the general direction of the setting sun.
Pros:
- BDC with Nikon SpotOn software
Cons:
- Poor Light Transmission in Low Light
- terrible glare
Best Used for:
- Medium range daylight shooting
