LP's Review of Rise Armament Stinger Handguard
Like the sleek, modern look... It's sturdy and allows for a comfortable grip; but upon inspecting the package content, found out that the nut plate used to secure the handguard to the barrel nut was missing. Upon further inspection, the spacer used to lock the handguard in place with the barrel nut does not align with the screw holes in the handguard. The barrel nut also seems too short...it only extends far enough benefit from two of the three screws. Altogether, it appears as if the wrong set of hardware was shipped with the handguard. Awaiting to hear from OpticsPlanet, and/or Rise Armament for the corrent hardware, or to return the unit altogether. Will change review/rating upon resolution.
Pros:
- Sleek, modern looking, strurdy
Cons:
- Shipped with wrong/missing hardware... Not usable as is...
