I had been disappointed with results in my 1960’s Ruger M77 25-06 with a varmit barrel. In the 70’s I was using Sierra bullets smacking woodchucks past 400 yards. Then when I started hunting again 5 years ago I wanted to use a modern bullet. I tried Barnes TTX, TTSX and Hornady VMax. The results were quite disappointing! I was barely MOA. I was afraid something may have happened to the barrel. I returned to Sierra Gamekings and I’m back to 1/4 MOA!
