KnifeNut's Review of Spec Ops Combat Master Fixed Blade Knife Sheath

Knife arrived as described. Fit my Randall Attack #14 7.5" blade knife. However, it still moves around sideways in the plastic protective part of the sheath and makes some noise. I know this is a generic/general sheath that will fit different types of blade and it is not custom to my knife but it should not have that much movement in it. I will probably find a way to stuff it with some type of material so that when I stick my blade in it, it will not move around. Other than that, I really like the specs on it and will be using it as part of my survival kit/bug-out-bag. Also, if you try to take the plastic protective part of the sheath, be aware that it is anchored with velcro so you're going to need something to stick in there to separate the loop from the hook part of the velcro. I'm still playing around with it and when I stick it back into the sheath, I have it turned around so that it doesn't adhere to the velcro. Once I'm done playing with it, I'm going to go ahead and turn it the right way so that it is secured by the velcro. Anyway, I really love SpecOps products since I came across it being sold on base at Ft. Irwin, CA. I have bought their products through the years and they have yet to fail me where ever I take them. Can't go wrong with SpecOps.
