The inch and a half width makes a big difference in weight distribution. I can't imagine using any other type sling system at this point. I modified the sling to attach at butt of folding tube stock on Valmet using section of M-16 "silent" sling -- better than attaching on receiver slot. Usual excellent OpticsPlanet service.
Pros: Superior quality and design/very reasonable price.
Cons: none
