Good concept. needs refinement. - TacStar Shotgun AR Stock Adaptor Mossberg

I ordered it on a whim backed by the fact that I’m 5’6” and have shorter arms because of that. This adapter allows for an adjustable LoP while using readily available AR stocks and parts. The sling points are nice to have however I haven’t found particularly useful ( I don’t run a sling on this gun currently ). The ability to use any AR platform pistol grip is definitely a clear positive. On the downside the angle it projects the buffer tube/stock from is decent to provide a good cheek weld and decent sight alignment for the ghost rings but not for barrel beads. The adapter also makes it difficult to press the slide release on the lower left of the receiver. ( I hear rumor about an extended tab somewhere online ). Overall it’s worth the 35ish and is a good alternative to more expensive options.
