Simple but efficient plate carrier. Slick front design with pouches in the side straps allows you to easily wear a jacket or cover shirt on top of this plate carrier. The loops on the front allow you to attach a placard system if you no longer need to stay covert/concealed.

Side pouches can fit a variety of things like extra mags or med gear or a flashlight/multi-tool.

Easy to adjust and get a comfortable fit. Able to accept common plate sizes (8x10 and 10x12 up to 1in thick).

The reason I bought this vest is I can set it up for my home defense without spending money on a bunch of extra pouches that add bulk. I bought a simple carrier, high quality plates, and set up the side strap pouches with the essentials (med gear, flashlight, etc) so if I have to respond to a threat in the middle of the night I just need to slip this vest on and I'm ready to handle the situation.

But I can also add a placard system and use this plate carrier at a training class or club match without giving up any significant performance/capability.

I am thinking about buying a second one to use as a weight vest while trailrunning. It doesn't project scary tactical vibes, allows me to carry tools for the trail (med gear, pepper spray, etc), and I can easily throw a windbreaker over it.

My only request for improvement would be offer it in multicam black
