Great inexpensive red/green dot optic - Vortex OPMOD StrikeFire II 1x30mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

I normally buy Aimpoint H-1 red dots but found myself needing several more optics. I have Vortex scopes (which are great) so I opted to buy some Vortex red/green dots. The option to choose red or green dot is nice and the cantilever mount works perfectly for me not to mention that I don't have to spend even more money on mounts.

Contols (push up/down arrows) are OK, although I think I'd prefer clicking knobs. But the arrows do work well and are in a very convenient place.

I like that it comes with the flip up caps also, rather than bikini style caps. Warranty can't be beat!!!

No issues with function. I only used these optics on .22LR and 9mm rifles, nothing high powered, so I can't comment on the durability with higher powered rifles.

I only gave it four stars because something bothered me just a tad at first when looking through it, maybe it's part of the battery compartment that can be seen (not sure)....but I'm used to that now.
