Avocadoman's Review of Wilson Combat 6mm ARC Tactical Hunter Match Grade Barrel

This thing is nice! Great machining and I could tell it was hand polished as advertised.

Just made sure I bought Wilson Combat's proprietary length Gas tube with it (The One below: Thanks previous reviewer)
Wilson Combat Gas Tube, Intermediate Length, TR-GTI

And a Superlative Arms adjustable Gas block:
Superlative Arms Adjustable Bleed Off AR-15/AR-10 Gas Block, .750in, Solid, Set Screw , Stainless Steel Matte, Steel Grey, SABO-DI-750SS

Cryptic Bolt:
Cryptic Bolt Assembly - Complete, 6.5mm Grendel II, Mystic Silver, CC-BAC-1203

It made a great Rifle with cheap palmetto receivers! I got .75 to 1 moa groups during my sighting/gassing/ break in period of 15 rounds (copper solvent + cleaning each round). in the fully open position, the SA gas block had brass ejecting right on the edge of optimized and under gassed- perfect for the future can.

HIGHLY recommend this barrel

Note: (I dont have a borescope yet- it doesn't look like the gas port is chamfered, but I couldn't see or feel any obvious burrs. It's my first build and I'm no expert but it seems hard to beat for the price)

Haven't grouped it under continuous fire, but don't want to wear it out too soon.

The only thing that concerned me was the Chamber seemed very slightly clocked, but it was aligned with the pin fine, fed and functioned perfectly out of the gate, and all of the shots so far have been flawless. Even got a few hogs with it still in its first 30 rounds- the reason for the build. May update as we go :)
