Product Info for Sierra Bullets MatchKing 180 gr. 7mm HPBT Rifle Bullets
The 7mm 180 grain HPBT MatchKing was created in response to requests from top-level F-Class shooters. Sierra has designed these MatchKing bullets to provide a higher weight/higher B.C. alternative in our 7mm line. This bullets 12 caliber secant ogive and lengthened boat tail make it the perfect choice for the discerning 7mm long range shooter.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 18in or faster.
