They wouldn’t. I just called Sig because I was suspicious that this is identical to the defunct Nikon. I was right. It’s the good old buckmaster. Best scope of all time if the quality stayed the same.

Great scope for the price, but in the description it says that the scope has an Illumination Type:LED and that the color of
Illumination Color:Red. The box it was shipped in even had a battery sticker on it. But this scope has no Illumination.
