The TMR series of Talley mounting rings is machined from US bar stock steel, then heat treated in our rotary smelting chambers right here in the USA. These rings have been designed specifically for pistol scopes with an adjustable objective such as the Talley QR or Talley XLS series. The QR mount is a direct drop-in fit, with no clamping device needed. The eye bolt keeps the first ring from slipping when you tighten it down. The retention screw on the TMR gives you the security of knowing your scope will stay where you put it, not where you bang it down against something as powerful as a hammer or a rock. These rings have solid radial groves machined into the rings. The rear ring is machined from solid stainless steel. The TMR is a true low profile mount that can be used on the stub shaft as well as the top and bottom of the receiver. Assembly is easy and should be done by a competent, qualified gunsmith who is qualified to make all critical installation/detachment to insure a correct fit.
