No buttons or levers to push. You hold the gun by the grip, the laser goes on. You put the gun down, the laser goes off. The green laser is bright and easy to see. Installation is easy! Honestly the best laser I have.

This is the best laser on the market,easy to install,and sight in.
You need to turn off the laser for storage by pushing the button and holding it for two seconds.I have kept it off for weeks at a time and turned it back on and it works fine.
