Not what I ordered by Mark, November 17, 2014
I ordered this in blue for a friend - arrived in black. I am still waiting on the other half of my order. By the way, a standard handcuff key will not work on these. They require a specialized handcuff key and only one is included in the package.

I ordered these based on the information on the website and reputation of ASP. I was not disappointed. The cuffs are well designed, light weight and fit well in my cuff case, which is a double case. I recommend these.

Ordered 30 pair of the ASP cuffs. Three (3) of them have came apart. The cain pulls loose from the swivel. THe coating come off the colored section, and the color fades drastically over time. Contacted ASP, they didn't seem to care about the issues. ...

ASP Steel Identifier Chain Handcuffs In Black / Colored Aluminum Restraints provide a major advance in both the design and construction of wrist restraints. Frame geometry in these Handcuffs / Restraints is the result of extensive computer modeling and simulation analysis. Strength potential has been maximized through use of an interlocking, unitized frame. The cuff structure is forged from high strength stainless steel on custom built, high speed, progressive dies engineered by ASP. Each ASP restraint is then overmolded with ordnance grade polymer under 75 tons of pressure.image
