Does it turn off by itself? Expert Answer

The Athlon Optics Talos EDC Red Dot Sight is powered by a CR2032 battery, providing 50,000 hours of constant-on illumination. There is no need to turn the optic ON or OFF, nor does this function exist. A built-in sensor detects ambient lighting conditions and automatically brightens or dims as needed between 4 illumination settings, always providing the optimal brightness in any situation.

Will this red dot mount directly to a picatinny rail? I would be using this as a top dot to mount to the top of my LPVO for close range shooting. Can you answer this question?

Within the first 10 rounds this optic malfunctioned. The red dot will intermittently dissappear after firing a round and then reappear after firing another round. This behavior was consistent across ~150 rounds.
