Connective polypropylene caps with molded-in sealing rings of the same shape as the original lids, without the overmolded spiral ties that bind most molded caps. To be used ONLY with Axygen Microcentrifuge Tubes WITH O-RINGS, in place of the usual rubber O-rings that are subject to breakage and require replacement. The conventional rubber O-rings are subject to breakage and require replacement. Caps without O-RINGS are supplied as is. Interrupted by molded-in sealing ribs, the caps permit one-hand operation. Both types of caps are certified RNase-, DNase-, and pyrogen-free. The molded-in sealing ribs prevent a one-hand closing of the lids. Caps without O-RINGS are also supplied in a looped form, which permits one-handed operation. Caps without O-RINGS are designed for use only with Axygen Scientific screw top microcentrifuge tubes.
