These Axygen Scientific Screw Caps for Microcentrifuge Tubes, Scientific SCO-R Screw Caps With O-Rings 10011-486 fit 0.5mL, 1.5mL, and 2mL screw top microcentrifuge tubes. A special Phenol/Propylene copolymer O-ring closure is used to seal out humidity during storage of bacterial cultures and serums. The cap is formulated and manufactured from a special compound that resists chemicals such as anhydrous ether, purified ether, hexane, acetone, chloroform, acetonitrile, and 40% trifluoroacetrile acid solution, plus many other corrosive substances found in laboratories. These Axygen Scientific SCO-R Closure Caps have extra long lips to help protect samples and ribs to allow one hand operation.
