A molded center sleeve allows for a liquid level read even when the cap is removed, and the wells can be centrifuged up to 20,000 g. With their uniform height, these tubes are tall enough to allow effective use of low-cap methods such as the BD Vacutainer and allow for effective use of OEM lids that require a safety pin to open.
